Event Details

Come and enjoy Henry Coe State Park!  Go on a nature walk with a volunteer naturalist and search for tarantulas on the move. Take a closeup view of live tarantulas and take your picture near them (no flashes please)  Enjoy games, contests, raffle and live music by The Tarantulas, a band of musical Coe Park volunteers and friends. Raffle prizes are donated by local artists, businesses, and fans of Coe Park.  Proceeds of the raffle will be used for our Visitor Center expansion  fund.

Food will be served from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.  Meal selections are: Santa Maria Steak, Marinated Chicken, Vegetarian or Hot Dog dinner.  All meals include ranch style BBQ beans, tossed salad and grilled French bread.  Soft drinks, water, juice, beer and wine will be available for nominal prices.  Parking (payable upon arrival) is an additional $8.00 per car.  Please carpool if possible.

This event is sponsored by the Pine Ridge Asso.  Advance tickets are required, and may be purchased using the order form above. You can conveniently print your tickets online or pickup at the event's Will Call Center.  Proceeds benefit operations and interpretive programs. Come and enjoy the fun!  Get tickets early as this event usually sells out quickly.
